The Directorate of Administration and Finance exists to strengthen the operational backbone of TEAM’s mission. Through wise stewardship, efficient systems and accountable leadership, we help create the structure needed for the Gospel to move freely, sustainably and with lasting impact — so that lives can be transformed, discipled and launched.

Over the years, the Directorate has worked with intentionality, resilience and transparency to stabilize office operations, safeguard donor trust, and build the systems required for sustainable growth across Nigeria, into neighbouring African contexts, and beyond.

Overview & Mandate

Administration is never an end in itself. Every system we build, every naira and dollar we account for, exists so that translators stay connected, evangelists keep moving, and the unreached hear the name of Jesus Christ.

  • Provide strong financial stewardship and accountability for all ministry activities.
  • Build efficient office systems, human resource frameworks and secure communications.
  • Enable other directorates — including Heart Languages, Gospel Movement, Itinerant & Youth Ministry and others — to deliver ministry outcomes with clarity, speed and excellence.
  • Mobilize resources through research and partnerships so TEAM’s work can scale with measurable impact.

Budgeting, remote payment protocols, reconciliation and audit-ready documentation to protect donor funds and maximize ministry reach.

Operational Systems & IT

Secure digital mail and communication platforms, connectivity support for field teams — especially Heart Languages — and standard operating procedures for data protection.

Human Resources & Welfare

Recruitment, staff onboarding, capacity development and welfare systems that equip nearly forty full-time and ad-hoc staff to serve effectively.

Monitoring & Impact

Key Performance Indicator dashboards that show clear progress from evangelised → discipled → trained → sent.
